In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Unbelievable and amazing

The tour guide Fabio was excellent and explained things I detail and was interested to hear and learnHis knowledge of history was clear and undestandable He did a wonderful to shows us the sites at the Vatican

Fantastic Tour

From start to finish our tour was great Really simple instructions for getting to our meeting point Tour started right on time Our group was of around 10 and our guide Oreste was fantasticHe was so welcoming and had a whole wealth of knowledge that he shared in such detail he was so patient with toiletwater breaks and answering any questions we had I would absolutely recommend the tour and even better if your in a group led by Oreste youll be in for a great time

Essential Experience for Ancient Wonders

The tour of the Coliseum and Forum was unbelievable Our tour guide Inga brought the experience to life with her stories of its history and her vibrant personality The tour was BY FAR the best way to see these ancient marvels because it brought life and understanding to the picturesque views and unique architecture We would have missed out on so much and overheated if we hadnt toured with our wonderful guide

Perfect experience

I thoroughly enjoyed my guided tour of the Colosseum Eddy who was in charge of the tour guide was very attentive Even though I happened to be the only one who signed up that day he still tried his best to explain it to me in every detail which was very interesting Thank you very much Eddy

Amazing 1010

Giuseppe was an amazing tour guide He always found us the shade He was informative easy to understand and had jokes that keep us smiling in the heat The sound quality of the ear piece was great and our tour group was only about 12 people We booked this the night before and could not have been more pleased with Giuseppe and the experience Remember you can bring water in and womens shoulders need to be covered or bring a small scarf Above knee as well for women 1010 recommendation
