In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Our guide Maria explained all the details for entry into the Vatican including tickets security and photography limitations in the Sistine chappel The tour information was helpful understanding the museum details and the creators background and history We enjoyed the depth of information as well as the personal approach explaining the papal history and religious implications

Great tour

My family and I enjoyed the tour of the Vatican Sistine chapel Rafaella was a wonderful guide She taught us so much about the history and significance of the art pieces inside The tour is rather lengthy and it does get very crowded and warm so be prepared for that Wish we had taken more time inside the Sistine chapel but it was just too crowded
