In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Engaging and Accommodating Tour Guide

The guide was very knowledgeable and humorous making our tour highly enjoyable We needed to take a few breaks for drinks and rest and he was very accommodating to our diverse group which included people of different ages

Fantabulous heritage historical Tour

Had an awesome experience with Maria Luisa who guided us the entire 3hr of Colosseum RomanForum Palatine Hill tour shes very experienced and professional and attentive Also a good story teller to the young kids even for adults that kids not get bored and followed her step in this HOT weather without complaining

Excellent Tour and Guide Private is the Way to Go if You Can

The tour was great Ursus our guide was delightful friendly very knowledgeable about the artwork and architecture and he was great at leading us quickly through the large crowds so we always got a good view of things The tour was about 25 hours and I feel like we got to see everything we wanted to see in that time While it may cost a little more for the private tour I was very happy that we did it once I was inside and Ursus was leading by all of the large tour groups and it was nice to be able to have an ongoing conversation with our guide and freely ask any questions we had as we went along
