In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

The Perfect Way to Experience the Vatican

This was a great tour and Martina was an amazing guide and we cannot recommend her enough From the beginning she let us know what to expect as we went through and did a great job of keeping our group together My husband and I were in the city for just a short day having taken a train in from Florence and wanted to make the most of our time in Rome The Vatican seemed like it would be a bit overwhelming to navigate so we decided to book this tour and were so happy that we did Not having done any research ahead of time we would have been lost but Martina made frequent stops and provided informative discussions that helped us better appreciate the works of art as we navigated our way through Unless you have done your own significant research ahead of time we highly recommend this tour and if possible book with Martina We planned to include the Vatican because it seemed like a must do but we truly enjoyed our time there thanks to having our expert and professional also humorous guide

Our tour guide was Nicolleta She was wonderful Her knowledge of everything on the tour was mind blowing She made our day wonderful There is so much to see in the Vatican you could spend a whole day Had a fantastic day Would highly recommend this tour

Very easy to book and find guide Adriano was very personable and knowledgeable He was friendly and informative We did have some difficulty with the ear pieces but this was sorted out very quickly
