In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Incredible Tour of the Vatican MuseumsSistine Chapels

Vatican City Tour

After a small issue on public transport we arrived a few minutes late for meeting up EcoArt called us and were very good and were able to catch us up with our tour group Our tour guide was excellent had so much knowledge that she shared about the artefacts which was very interesting I would definitely recommend our tour guide EcoArt and this tour to anyone visiting the Vatican City

Most memorable tour in our trip We loved it

This tour was incredible and I cant recommend it enough to anyone visiting Rome There are so many tour options to choose from but we lucked out with having Catalina as our guide Its easy to notice when someone loves their job and Catalina was absolutely amazing She was extremely knowledgeable funny and sweet and she really put in the extra effort to point out and show us things that we would have otherwise completely missed Thank you Catalina

Marina was a great guide

Marina our guide knew her art history and was warm and patient with us Our group was a good size and friendly We saw the must see pieces and she answered questions We met at the foot of the steps leading to the front tourist entrance of the Vatican Prepared to be overwhelmed

Not for the art lovers

This tour is not for the people who would like to take time to admire each piece of art Tour was short and rushed but the tour guide was AMAZING So incredibly kind knowledgeable and relatable You can tell she truly enjoys what she does
