In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Fred was really helpful and we learned a lot about the Vatican in the museum

Fred was really helpful and we learned a lot about the Vatican in the museum Although it was very pricey were glad that we took a tour as there is so much more to the paintings than it seems We will probably go on more tours with EcoArt

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great tour

This tour is a must for anyone who is travelling to Italy for the first time Our tour guide was Ricardo and he was very good Ricardo was knowledgeable thorough and had a good sense of humor He was thoughtful and provided a good level of detail There is so much to see in the museums and the Sistine Chapel was amazing

Our tour was amazing

Our tour was amazing Easy to meet up with the group at the designated location The best part was our tour guide Rosa The place was crazy busy and she helped us navigate through the museum so easily She also looked out for everyone and kept us moving which I especially appreciated

Amazing in all aspects

I really enjoyed the tour the Vatican museums were great if a bit crowded although I understand there were in fact far fewer people than usual the Sistine chapel was mesmerizing and the St Peters Basilica was in a word breathtaking Ive never seen anything quite like it and it was difficult to take the grandeur of the place all in at once I really enjoyed the fact that the museums host artworks and artifacts from different periods of history which really gives a sense that you are travelling through time I want to give a special shoutout to our tour guide Eddy who made the whole tour even more enjoyable with his fascinating stories about different art piece and the history of the whole place which really made everything come to life I would and will definitely recommend the tour to my friends the next time they visit Rome One issue that I would point out is that the Vatican Museums were very hot even though they were inside and I would like to have had better air conditioning although I would understand if there are logistical issues with this
