This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Efficient way to explore in a short period of time

A great way to cover more in a short period of time This is my second time doing the same tour to visit the Vatican City and Museum This time was harder as it was so busy Id strongly recommend to do the first trip of the day when you can last time we were the only ones in the museum for a while This time the place was packed and hot and crowded Our guide Nicoletta did a great job helping us seeing as much as we could Pointing out the highlights She was very patient I dont normally do tours but feel like this one is the one to go as it is efficient and informative

A Great First Look at the Vatican

The tour company were very well organised and spoke excellent English This included our tour guide Marcello who was very knowledgable with a great sense of humour The tour is 25 hours on your feet so be prepared for a lot of walking However its a great way to get a first taste of this huge museum The Sistine Chapel is spectacular and Marcello explained it well before our entry We were also able to get Skip the Line entry to St Peters at the end of the tour Highly recommended

Wonderful experience

Martina was wonderful Very knowledgeable and a good sense of humor She came prepared with photos and explained the Sistine Chapel since youre not allowed to talk I think she did a wonderful job and would recommend her as a tour guide any time Glad we didnt do the selfguided tour
