This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

If you want a no frills tour where you get to see the highlights of the Vatican City while learning a ton this is it This tour is so well planned out you cut right through all the lines and get to see everything you want to and more There isnt much wasted time and the guide knows exactly where to go for the best experience Sarah was amazing knowledgeable and kind Simply put well worth the money to see one of the amazing sights of Rome

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Excellent - highly recommend

Booked this tour via Expedia and couldn’t have asked for better - our guide Jeanette was excellent - knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very engaging- not easy to keep 2 teenage boys engaged for a 3 hr history tour but Jeanette managed it effortlessly and everyone in our party of 6 thought the tour and guide were excellent

Amazing

Felix, our guide was amazing and wonderful! He taught us so many things and answered all of our questions. He kept us informed at every corner! The history came alive for us and we enjoyed our tour.

The Vatican and Sistine Chapel

Laura our guide was amazing as was Paolo who greeted us at our meeting point before the tour - Laura took us around the Vatican and Sistine Chapels and was very knowledgeable in her submit - she answered all our questions clearly and concisely and was very enthusiastic - many rooms that are not usually open were open on the day we visited so we felt very lucky to see some sites that are not available to the public on a daily basis - the skip the line option was worth every penny as we flew through the queues with no stress - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend EcoArt to any friends and family and would use them again if i return to Rome.. Thank you for a great experience.

Vatican Tour

Pasqual was our guide he was extremely knowledgeable about the tour he spoke excellent English. He answered questions and was friendly and humerous too. Five stars to him would highly recommend him to other tourists. Thank you

Magical Tour

Our tour was truly the experience of a life-time and Felix was the sole reason that we were able to see, hear, smell, (sometimes) touch and learn our way throughout these breathtaking surroundings. He has an intimate sense of art history... and an innate ability to "express" to you what you are seeing. The fact that he easily tracked and guided our motley crew in amongst the throng of history worshippers suggests he will make a fine mother one day, lol.
