Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.


Ending Point

Vatican Museums or St. Peter's Basilica (depending on option selected)

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

Choose an option that includes Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica to enjoy a direct route from the Vatican Museums. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums.


Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

    • Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date.     80th birthday tour for lady with mobility issues

    Sabina was a brilliant kind and knowledgeable tour guide We felt very looked after throughout the tour and she really made the whole visit to the Vatican even more interesting with lots of anecdotal stories about Michelangelo and Raphael and pointing out the key things to look at and notice that we would have missed by doing a self guided tour The trip to Rome was to celebrate my mums 80th birthday and she struggles to walk any great distance Sabina was conscious of this and made sure my mum could sit down along the way and even arranged with a guard for my mum to avoid some stairs and fast tracked her to the Sistine chapel

    Really recommend this company Ilaria gave a really informative tour she was extremely knowledgeable and was able to successfully guide us through the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel on a day which was so over crowded Thanks so much

    Great tour and fantastic tour guide

    We were in Rome and wanted to see the Vatican and learn of its history and see the art We found this as a highly recommended tour and wee definitely not disappointed Donatella was our tour guide and you could plainly see her passion and love for the city its art and its history She has a deep knowledge and love for it all and it showed My mother 80 years old just a few months earlier was on the tour and it was quite a bit of walking She was able to complete it without problems but be aware that it is a walking tour with plenty of stairs Be prepared and you will do fine I am very glad we did this tour and extremely glad we paid to skip the line Be sure to see St Peters Basilica afterward Magnificent
