Cap off your visit with a special entrance to the Sistine Chapel, where your guide will prepare you to admire Michelangelo's greatest masterpiece.

Your insider guide will optimize your visit on the day of your tour ensuring you witness the Vatican Museum's most important highlights.

Ideal for first-timers to the Vatican, this tour covers the Vatican Museums; Sistine Chapel, including, but not limited to, the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps.

At the conclusion of your tour, if you have chosen an option that explicitly includes it, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, where you will be free to explore on your own.

We had a fantastic tour with Assunta She gave us a very detailed tour of the Vatican museums something you have to spend ages in a queue to visit Assunta took her time and told us so much interesting information and left us to spend time along in the Sistine Chapel

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.


Ending Point

Vatican Museums or St. Peter's Basilica (depending on option selected)

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Choose an option that includes Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica to enjoy a direct route from the Vatican Museums. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums.


Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

    • Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date.     Brilliant tour with brilliant guide

    Brilliant tour with a brilliant guide So much to absorb we could have spent several hours more Very busy so be prepared for crowds Our guide was full of anecdotes and quirky bits of history Would highly recommend

    Great tour Monica is a great guide

    What a wonderful tour Monica was the best Shes been doing this for 28 years so she knows so many details history even symbolism in the art It was obvious everyone from the ticket office to the security guards and other guides knew her and respected her She was able to get us into an area right before they closed to groups because she knew something was up so she wound us around another way and they closed the doors behind us She was fun knowledgeable and understanding unseasonably hot in October very hot so she knew it was difficult for some Would definitely recommend They met us on time and were easy to find with their shirts and flag

    Unbelievable Experience

    The tour was amazing Our tour guide Riccardo was so knowledgeable friendly and he made the experience so much better The next time I return to Rome I plan to book another tour and hopefully I will have Riccardo as my guide again
