Amazing tour around the island Ponza

It was a great experience Many thanks to the whole crew and especially to our tour guide Riccardo who made sure our tour went smoothly and everyone felt comfortable He answered every question we had and made the trip very informative The trip itself was amazing Beautiful landscapes of Ponza Island turquoise crystal clear water the whole thing enchants you in a magical way We didnt even want to go back at the end We had visited a total of six bays and could swim there for about half an hour each and enjoy the nature In total the trip around the island with all the stops took about 5 hours Towards afternoon the lunch was served pasta with tuna and olives plus wine we liked it Many thanks to the captain who prepared it for us The highlight of the trip were the caves in rocks through which we could swim and enjoy the play of colors in the water That was fascinating I would recommend this tour to everyone It is 100 worth it

Sara makes the Colosseum come alive

Sara was the best tour guide we have ever had So knowledgeable and a great story teller She made the Colosseum come alive and we could really understand what it was like to be there Thank you Jeff and Amy Mineghino

Day trip to Ponza island was definately one of the highlights of our visit to Rome The trip offered a great getaway from the blazing hot city and some breathtaking scenery It was an early wakeup to get to the meeting point but that allowed enough time on the island for the boat trip swimming and a brief visit to the Ponza harbour I was hesitant to include the snorkling to the activity but Im glad I did since exploring the Grottoes of Ponza during the bathing breakes was the best part of the trip Id highly recommend this tour to anyone

Ponza is great The boats are too overcrowded

The checkin process was easy The bus to Ponza was incredibly tight If you are taller than 57 I would recommend taking the train to Anzio The ferry to Ponza was comfortable and air conditioned We were a bit startled the number of people booked for the small boatdef not at all what we expected and several of us were openly asking if this was safe Of course after the trek there we just decided to go for it Getting on the boat Obviously most people wanted to be on top There was enough room to sit with your legs crossed sitting next to next to each other shoulder to shoulder The boat was clean the crew were very nice but it was really too crowded Fortunately a group of College girls were there that were super sweet and another couple So that made it more bearable Initially there was a group of people that were kicking people off the top bc they were attempting to save it all for their group of nine Fortunately they figured out that wasnt possible and moved downstairs There were shyer people that def did not have the best accommodations bc of this bully group All that said The Island is amazing The grottos are beautiful and the trip was so fun It really was so dependent on the crew and people on the trip I would spend the money on a private boat next time Everyone was stepping on our towels and our stuff got soaked And being a mom and daughter of a sailor I was counting life jackets and pfds there were no where near enough I would in no way take this trip with children younger than 1516 There was no safety protocol in place I would encourage you to bring snacks Grab a bite to eat in Ponza before getting back on the bus Many places in Rome were closed by the time we got back Its not what we were expecting I loved seeing Ponza Glad we went Would not do this tour again

Breathtaking views

The full tour was an amazing experience I cant remember when seeing so beautiful blue water Swimming in the sea was absolutely amazing and the views were breathtaking Riccordo was an excellent guide who gave a lot of good information during the whole tour I enjoyed it all Thank you so much
