Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.


Ending Point

Vatican Museums or St. Peter's Basilica

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available, Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Our tour of the Vatican museums was phenomenal thanks to our tour guide, Eddy! He was making everyone laugh from the moment the tour began. He is so knowledgeable and we were able to learn a great deal that we would have missed if we walked through on our own. Everyone gets their own headphones so you can hear your guide at all times. His English was very easy to understand. I would 100% recommend booking this tour, it's definitely worth it!!!

Highly recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour of the Vatican, led by Lindy. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and expertly guided us through the highlights of the Vatican. She made the experience fun and easy despite huge crowds. We learned a lot and would highly recommend a guided tour to anyone visiting for the first time. Thank you, Lindy!

Fantastic experience with Lindy

We had Lindy as our guide and she was awesome. Her English was very easy to understand, and she made it really interesting. This is my fourth visit to the Vatican, and hands down this was my best experience yet. If you have children, she is great as she keeps them engaged and is witty. I highly recommend her and this tour.
