Many many marble steps to the Sistine Chapel but go for it The 800 am tour is not too crowded and our guide Elana was awesome She told us what to expect each part of the tour pointed out bathrooms on the tour She was always easy to find because she gave clear concise instructions Her knowledge of the Vatican areas university level I highly recommend her tour Elana from Milan

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.


Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great tour

Very satisfied and happy

I highly recommend booking this tour The other members of our small tour group did not arrive hence our tour became a private guided tour Admission to the vatican was fast thru our skiptheline access Our guide Assunta explained very well the stories behind the artarchictecture It was really fun despite the summer heat I was travelling with my senior parents and our guide accommodated my parents needs very well

Best Rome tour ever

Fabulously organized tour with Jeanette as the best guide ever Her knowledge is exceptional in relation to both the art as well as the artist She was also very funny and entertaining which helped navigate through the maze of the museum Her description of the painting in the Sistine Chapel will stay with me so clear passionate and clear Cant imagine why or how anyone can visit this site without availing of a tour to help describe and highlight the work on display

Great tour and great guide

Ilaria our tour guide was amazing The information she was providing kept us captivated while all the walking and navigating the crowd Yes it is crowded however she did a fantastic job of getting us around the long lines and crowds as we walked thru the museum Sistine chapel etc excellent and highly recommend this tour
