Many many marble steps to the Sistine Chapel but go for it The 800 am tour is not too crowded and our guide Elana was awesome She told us what to expect each part of the tour pointed out bathrooms on the tour She was always easy to find because she gave clear concise instructions Her knowledge of the Vatican areas university level I highly recommend her tour Elana from Milan

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great Tour for the NonCatholic

Our guide was very knowledgeable with a great grasp on the history Using a microphone and ear pieces is difficult but the crowds necessitate it She was a lovely person and good with the group So grateful for the small group offering so we could ask questions and maintain a good dialog

The tour was enlightening and entertaining Our tour guide Oscar is superb He provided elucidating and amusing information about the art architecture and history of the Vatican while keeping us moving through its mazes and avoiding juggernauts Five stars for the tour and five stars for Oscar Thank you

Best Vatican expirience

It was really amazing and I loved everything so much It was absolutely beautiful and one of my best experiences in Italy Our guide Valerio explained everything really well and he was really clear with his explanations I would recommend this to friends and family
