Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Italian Tour Finale

Our Vatican tour with Nicolette was our final tour in Italy after spending 10 days on a collection of impressive tours and travels from Rome to Florence to Siena Pisa San Gimignano Sorrento and Pompei The Vatican Tour was a most fitting end to our amazing adventure in Italy Our small group tour of 10 people started on time in the Vatican City with Nicolette who obviously loved what she was doing Nicolette was very personable and took the time to answer everyones questions as we toured through the vast Vatican museums Nicolletes depth and breadth of knowledge of the extensive collections in the museums and her knowledge of the Vatican history the Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica was remarkable Going through the crowded but orderly and quiet viewing of the Sistine Chapel at the conclusion of our tour was breathtaking Nicolette also ensured that we were pointed in the right direction of St Peters Basilica for our own time in the Basilica following her guided tour and she provide fine points on the many things to see in the Basilicab

Adriano was an excellent guide during our Vatican tour We learned a lot about the history and art of the most important places in the Vatican We particularly appreciated the explanation of the Sistine Chapel art prior to entering so it made the experience easier to understand Thank you Adriano

Everyone should take this tour

We did a small group tour of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel with Riccardo last week and all I can say is WOW Riccardo was excellent he had extensive knowledge regarding the art and history of the museum and was an expert at navigating the crowds Most importantly he was very personable and kind especially to our 2 middle school age children even noticing when they were tired and finding them a place to sit at the end of the tour I am so glad we took this tour with Riccardo it would have been totally overwhelming without him
