Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Amazing tour with Oscar. Highly recommend!

Oscar was an amazing guide and made the tour enjoyable. With so many people inside the vatican museum he went out of his way to make sure our small group was not lost in the sea of all the other groups. He was very courteous and exceptionally knowledgeable about the art. I would highly recommend Oscar and this small group tour. Thank you for making our visit a pleasant one. :)

Great Vatican tour with Marina

Marina was an excellent guide! She added many humorous references to keep the tour interesting, such as comparing the mandatory path of the Vatican Museum to that of Ikea ???? She brought her own materials and props to personalize the experience for us, and we gave her a standing ovation at the end.

Tour guide needed for this incredible experience!!!!

Love it ! we were a small group with a well prepared guide “Guisseppe” who made sure to keep us together, aware of our needs ,entertained us with his good sense of humor and as his amazing knowledge in history and arts!!! Thanks again Guisseppe!!!!!!

Amazing tour of the Vatican by Patrick, who was so knowledgeable and informative. He certainly knew his stuff! The pace and the style were spot on, would definitely recommend

Amazing and worth every penny!

Whole tour was breath taking and Martina made it even better. She was very knowledgeable and very as well so kept us entertained throughout the tour. I loved Sistine Chapel and it was nice to the master piece. Thank you Martina!
