Our guide Giuseppe did an AMAZING job of moving us through the Vatican museum highlighting key works of art and history without being boring or wordy He made sure to get us to masterpiece Sistine Chapel on time before closing Highly recommend

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.


Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Vatican museum and Sestine chapel guided tour review

It was a wonderful day and excellent tour provided by guide Sara Such a memorable day I saw Vatican museums Sistene chapel for the first time Sara was funny informative hours flied I highly recommend guided tour as it saves time for skipping the line and without a guide it would be one more beautiful place but information from guide adds meaning to a visit Thank you Sara for such a wonderful tour

Great tour very informative lots to take in be in right frame of mind to hear digest and listen attentively

Ilariya was great She was very knowledge The tour is overwhelming and fast paced If you are into this kind of stuff go for it If tired and want to relax with no pressurestress do it another day Very informative Great to see the largest collection of historical artifacts

Eddie the archeologist historian man from Venice in Rome

Excellent tour Our tour guide Eddie he was simply the best guide I have ever enjoyed Great knowledge on history and on the actual discrepancies our world is having Partially because we did something a long time ago Eddie made that very clear and myself being a kind of fan of History I do share a lot of his views His knowledge not just in history and also in archeology makes him a perfect fit for a tour guide person We have enjoyed very much Thanks
