Many many marble steps to the Sistine Chapel but go for it The 800 am tour is not too crowded and our guide Elana was awesome She told us what to expect each part of the tour pointed out bathrooms on the tour She was always easy to find because she gave clear concise instructions Her knowledge of the Vatican areas university level I highly recommend her tour Elana from Milan

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Great tour great guide Adriano

A superb tour The Vatican museums the Sistine Chapel and St Peters basilica are must sees when in Rome Our guide Adriano was fantastic just the right amount of information he is so knowledgeable and the right pace Definitely the best tour we did during our 5 day stay in Rome

Get skip the line tickets

I highly recommend that you book a skip the line tour By the time we got out the line to get in was probably a mile long no exaggeration I felt rather rushed along the way through the museum There was little time to ask questions as we went although we had some pictures to looks at beforehand of the chapel

The tour guide was excellent She clearly loves her job and knows how to share stories about the art we saw in ways that helped understand and remember the context We would not gotten nearly as much out of this visit without the guide

Excellent Tour of the Vatican Museum Sistine Chapel with Guiseppe

I am not someone who generally pays for guided tours and basically to avoid the long queue to get tickets I can honestly say it was the best decision I made while in Rome We were there in early March which is the quiet season and it was still packed wouldnt like to guess what it is like in the height of the tourist season Our guide Guiseppe was fantastic His knowledge and passion for the museum was obvious from the get go He is also an extremely funny friendly and charming individual I learnt so much from Guiseppe most of which I would have missed if I had just walked around on my own I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering this tour book with EcoArt and ask for Guiseppe to be your guide
