In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

After free time in the Sistine Chapel - you'll be able choose to end your visit at the Vatican Museums entrance or continue to explore on your own.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, excluding Wednesdays and special events.

Amazing place really informative tour guide completely worth not standing in the extremely long lines we walked past

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available,Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Awesome tour guide Ricardo

We have done a lot of tours during our trip to Italy but this was the best mainly because of our tour guide Ricardo He was so passionate and knowledgeable about the art at the Vatican We left with such an appreciation for the history and artistry thank you

The trip was great

The trip was great Stunning location and despite being promised 3 stops for snorkeling we had 5 stops It is a long day but dont despair you will enjoy the memorizes of the clear waters to get wet Our guide found a good balance between information and over talking A small issue with a snorkel with a broken valve was replaced in seconds and lunch was energy food just what was needed on a high energy day like this Two things I might suggest 1 Smokers on board despite being in the open we were inhaling smoke from cigarettes and vapes all too regularly Several guests near us were not fans of inhaling cancer causing smoke I might suggest a smoker area aft or upper deck Not a perfect solution but better than nothing This included the Cap 2 The captain liked his alcohol Shot after shot of wine made him more boisterous over the day and then the beer came out He could probably do this a 1000 times without an issue but if the sh1t hit the fan I would want him sober

Minimize the overwhelm to take in the beauty

So much to see By having this guided tour our time in lines was extremely brief and the exploration was wellorganized We saw and learned about details and aspects that we would certainly have overlooked otherwise the art and ambiance is beautiful and it was helpful to avoid the overwhelmespecially since its impossible to see and notice it all Our guide was very friendly and helpful The time to use the bathrooms grab a snack and see the Sistine Chapel was all encompassed into 15 minutes which felt a bit rushed And with that we ended early so it may have been nice to have a bit more space there but the chapel was so crowded that it would have been hard to stay much longer It was a great bonus that were were there on a day when the basilica was open and we were able to enter there to explore a bit more on our own without a line because of this tour

Knowledgable tour
