In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

After free time in the Sistine Chapel - you'll be able choose to end your visit at the Vatican Museums entrance or continue to explore on your own.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, excluding Wednesdays and special events.

Amazing place really informative tour guide completely worth not standing in the extremely long lines we walked past

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available,Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. A amazing visual and learning experience

Definitely recommend this tour and our tour guide Monica With 30years of experience She was such a wrath of knowledge We took the first tour time slot at 8 am which was perfect While we waited all of 10min our guide to get in Monica took the time to give us background and insight into what we would see the tour lasted just under 3 hours Totally worth it

Incredible experience

Valerio was an incredible guide We feel so lucky we had the opportunity to have his guidance through this incredible museum and Sistine Chapel He was a wealth of information and we left feeling blown away by the entire experience and smiling It was busy lots of people and the skip the lines was okay but Valerio made this one of our favorites

We had only 3 days in Rome and we booked this trip on our only full day in Rome when we dont have flight and it was such an amazing idea Gabriel and the boat captain were very positive which made this trip super fun Ponza is very interesting place me and my wife recommend everyone to just go for it You will not regret it Lots of time for swimming 5 different places or even more very tasty lunch wine stories of the island and even free time to go and grab some coctails before the ferry back

Skip the Line Save Time

The fact that we were able to bypass everyone and skip the long lines alone was worth the price of the tour Our tourguide Valerio was all business as he guided us past security and the entrance lines but once we got into the galleries he was extremely informative and taught us a lot about the history of the art within the Vatican We really enjoyed his synopsis and he was willing to answer all our questions Our group was only 4 people which was perfect so we didnt feel self conscious about asking for more detail or holding the group back This tour was exactly as advertised skip the line and small group

Very organized informative and good pace Have to use a tour guide for the Vatican due to its size and volume of works Our tour guide was very good and did a great job showing us the highlights and giving a lot of information of the Vatican and its museum We were also able to skip the line to St Peters Basilica where we were able to wander at our own pace
