This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Our group had an incredible experience on the Skip the Line Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel Tour St Peters and a huge part of that was our guide Niccolò He was extremely knowledgeable engaging and clearly passionate about the history art and architecture of the Vatican His detailed explanations brought everything to life and kept our group interested from beginning to end Skipping the long lines was a major advantage and allowed us to make the most of our time exploring these incredible sites If youre looking for a wellorganized informative tour I highly recommend this experience Hopefully youll be lucky enough to have Niccolò as your guide he made the tour unforgettable

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great Tour Tour Guide was Very Knowledgeable

My family and I were 6 in number and purchased tickets for the 430 tour The tour was beautiful and our guide Marzia was great She hit the highlights and gave us ample time at places when needed The reason for 45 rating is because we were under the impression that we had tickets to St Peters Basilica but its free to enter By the time our tour of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel was complete St Peters had closed Just something to keep in mind with later tours All in all we would recommended this tour

Catalina is the BEST

Catalinas the BEST you can get She was smiling and engaging the entire 3 hours Her history and storytelling were unbelievable The detail in the stories were incredible It felt like watching a movie as I walked If you want an amazing tour ask for Catalina The small group setting was also wonderful and allowed for us to truly engage and get all of our questions answered An absolute must
