In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

We love our tour at the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel very much and mainly because our tour guide Shaklò has made the whole experience more fun and memorable She is very informative and always makes sure each of us in the tour has taken great care of Im also glad that she speaks fluent English and very easy to understand despite we are using the headsets Im a Fine Arts Major and with the stories and histories she shared during the tour I felt like Im back to university and learnt even more than I had before Thank you Grazie

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Amazing tour but Oscar made it great

Such a great history lesson and experience for our family Communication and meet up with the tour company was so easy By chance we were assigned Oscar as our guide and he was wonderful Cannot say enough about his knowledge his presentation style so easy to listen to and we learned so much ask for Oscar if you can

Worthwhile experience

Definitely recommend skip the line as saved us so much time which was crucial in the heat The company were well organised and the meeting point was easy to find The tour itself was great but made even better by our guide Guiseppe who was brilliant He was so knowledgable and enthusiastic and made the experience so enjoyable bringing the history and artefacts to life would definitely recommend

Experience

The tour was well organized Guide was also experienced having good knowledge of the area If you seek any spirituality you will not find it there There were some benches for praying but the atmosphere is a mixture of entertainment with noise so you spiritually remains under the shadow of business and entertainment
