In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Fruitful and fun tour with Alessia and Dumbo

So glad we had Alessia and Dumbo as our guide Loved everything about the tour weather was great skipped all the queues got to hear lots of interesting background on the Colosseum the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill took lots of picsvideos at the best picture spots Alessia even took time out to answer all of our questions after the tour eg where to get the best tiramisu meals other places to visit etc Wonderful wonderful experience Glad we booked this guided tour with EcoArt

Great experience

Absolutely 100 recommend this tour Was a small group which we found you get a lot more information and see a lot more regarding the paintings etc if you had questions it was no problem to our guide Laurelie I hope I spelled this correct She was so friendly and very informative especially with each of us asking questions she was very patient and answered the questions to as much as her knowledge We will definitely be back to Rome and hope to get laurelie as our guide on tours again

Monica was great and her knowledge was exceptional She knew a lot of details and obviously has many years of experience in the Vatican We would not even know what we were looking at when it comes to art of various items or monuments I would certainly recommend Monica as your guide
