In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

An excellent and memorable tour

The guided tour was excellent and very educational Guia Gaga is so knowledgeable and passionate about the Rome art history I leaned so much from the tour and truly enjoyed the experience Highly recommend to everyone visiting Rome

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

I recently had the privilege to visit Rome and attend an EcoArt Travel tour of the Vatican The tour guide was Assunta a true Art Historian Words cannot express how impressed I was with Assuntas professionalism skill set and indepth knowledge of the Vatican and the uniqueness of the items found therein Assuntas engaging personality immediately made the group feel comfortable She took the time to answer questions and made certain each member of the group ranging from older adults to children were given the time and attention necessary to make the Vatican tour a lifelong memory Although there are many options for tourists to choose from while in Rome EcoArt Travel and their esteemed tour guides such as Assunta is what sets them apart from the competition Respectfully LB USA

Excellent tour

Marcello was an amazing guide Knowledgeable and funny He answered my husbands questions about several of the pieces and helped us know what to expect for each portion of the visit This area is enormous and a proficient guide is so helpful I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit the Vatican and Sistine Chapel with access to St Peters Basilica to learn about art and history
