In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Most beautiful experience in Rome Italy

When in Rome the Vatican and Sistine Chapel are a must and they are best made with a smallgroup tour I went with my adult children and I got the midafternoon to evening schedule We had lunch first at the Prati neighborhood then walked to the meeting place just across the Vatican entrance Do remember that the St Peters Basilica is a church and its completely free to come inside There is no fee for going inside the Basilica Our tour ended at the front of the Basilica and we simply went inside to light candles to pray and then we had the good fortune of being able to attend mass that although said in Italian was completely solemn and heartwarming From the Basilica there are taxis that are very costly It was 7PM already and we were already too tired to figure out how to get to the metro so we simply walked for a few meters until we got to the bridge that separates The Vatican from Rome walked across the view and sculpture on the bridge are amazing and then got a cab in Rome to our hotel which was way cheaper

Excellent tour The Vatican museums are vast Monica our guide carefully selected items and stories that made the time there really worthwhile Monica was engaging and took good care of our small group Very pleased I learned much more than Id have done with just an entry ticket And Monica made the morning fun too Highly recommended
