In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great tour with lots to see

This trip to Vatican City was so much fun and really enjoyable Our tour guide Lindy was very friendly and helped make the tour an experience to remember She took her time and we didnt feel rushed at all The meet up instructions were easy to follow Booking in August its extremely hot so I would recommend bringing a large water bottle you can stop during the tour to fill them up for free and also bring a fan dont get scammed by the guys on the street selling them Thank you eco art and Lindy for offering a memorable experience

Absolute Gem of a tour 1010

The tour can only be as good as the tour guide Thankfully Jeannette was an absolute GEM of a find Despite walking on crutches she made the tour immensily enjoyable and fun 1010 on her friendliness and 1010 on her knowledge about the subject matter that is the Vatican and all that is related to it which she did an incredible job explaining the things that needed explaination This August day was HOT 3839celc and the crowds endless Jeannette led us through the gates in 5 mins and into the museum in no time Worth the money just to avoid the endless waiting in these extrodinary long lines outdoors Tips The vatican cops will give you things to cover your shoulders when entering the chapel in case you are not covered Ladies Gents take hats off There is a water fountain up the escalator on the outside area fill up your bottles there you will need it during the HOT tour It is recommended to carry at least one bottle per person at least 12 litres of water There is a little bit of relief inside the museum some air conditioned area and some fans here and there however be prepared to sweat it out and you will
