In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

My family went on a tour of the Colloseum Forum and Palatine Hill The highlight of the tour besides of course the Colloseum was our guide Sara S who was smart lively and really made the 3 hours of tour fun and engaging Highly recommend especially if Sara is your guide

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Catalina made the tour even better

WOW What an amazing small group tour of the Vatican museums and Sistine chapel by Catalina at EcoArt tours She was so fun friendly and knowledgeable She took the time to get to know us answered all of our questions and her love and deep understanding of art and history at the museums came through in her story telling She allowed our tour to go at a nice and slow pace and I never felt rushed or left out We had a lot of laughs too Id highly recommend this tour group One note be sure to arrive at the meeting place early It gets busy there and you want to be sure to find your group and not be rushed or stressed Bring a water bottle because its hot in the museums and you can refill your water in the beautiful historical water fountains throughout the museum

Emilio was a GREAT tour guide He had so much valuable information to share Only thing I didnt like this was NOT the fault of the tour was the audio recordings at the crypts was not always in line with what you were seeing But still highly recommend Again NOT A REFLECTION OF THE TOUR

Only way to see the Vatican

Martina was amazing Extremely informative and very mindful of how hot it was on our tour day She gave us tons of information on the pieces in the gallery and made sure not to leave anyone behind through the crowds Highly recommend
