This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Vatican Museums Tour

We had the best time Catalina was our guide and she was so knowledgeable about the Vatican museums and the history of Rome as a whole She spoke amazing English and was so sweet and funny Would definitely book another tour with her

The guide was great

The guide was great knowledge Enjoyed the tour But thought 350 was a lot of for two people Skip the Lines were still long Vatican City a must see Guided experience a must Just feel 25 hours for 350 was a bit much

We loved Martina best guide EVER

It was all about our guide Martina was fabulous I have been on Vatican Tours many times it was my sisters first time Martina seemed to find all of the most interesting and unique points of interest to tell us about And of course all the important sites and areas She was a lot of fun she was funny but she was professional and loaded with great history and information She truly made this a great tour

Fantastic Our Guide Maria Laura made this tour the highlight of our Rome trip

Nothing short of Excellent The Vatican and Sistine Chapel are breathtaking but I give full credit of our Fantastic experience to our Tour guide and host Maria Laura She was knowledgeable passionate and truly engaging She knew what was important to highlight in such a short time with so so so much to see She was accommodating to all members and very interactive We had a limited mobility family member on the tour that we knew ahead of time would not be able to fully participate due to the logistics and stairs for certain parts of the tour and without compromising the groups experience Maria Laura managed her to the separation point with good guidance on what to do during the separation period until we all met again later at the Sistine chapel Flawless Thank you thank you thank you Maria Laura for making this a fantastic experience I would choose you as a personal tour guide for life if it were possible to do so We all thank you again
