In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Wonderful Delightful and informative guide

This is a dont miss tour on your first visit to Rome The beauty of the works in the Vatican museums is beyond words and the grounds are breathtaking I loved that we were able to tour St Peters Basilica at the end at no extra charge The very best part of the tour was our guide Ursus He was so kind and knowledgeable and clearly loved sharing information about the history of the Vatican and details about the beautiful paintings and sculptures we were seeing The tour was crowded and many tourists were less respectful than I would have liked of the sacredness of the place especially in the Sistine Chapel but that was not something our guide could control Ursus was so patient and pleasant and did a great job of keeping everyone together and making sure everyone could hear him through small radio earbud sets I highly recommend this tour

Loreley had so much great information to share It was well worth the money to have a guide versus going through the Vatican museum on your own It was also great to go right into St Peters Basilica without waiting in the long line
