In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

After free time in the Sistine Chapel - you'll be able choose to end your visit at the Vatican Museums entrance or continue to explore on your own.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, excluding Wednesdays and special events.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums or St. Peter's Basilica

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available,Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Loved the property its one of the hidden gem in Rishikesh the place is super nice for a vacation My dogs loved it too they enjoyed soo much in the property And the view from our room was so mesmerising and amazing The service was so good The food was delicious and the staff was so helpful and friendly they prepared different food for my dogs as well loved the place and would recommend everyone to go there And take your dogs too a perfect place for vacation with games and painting and amazing view from the property i booked the property from Ms Shweta who helped me to get the best prize and the best solution to all my queries Its was her belief that made me plan my trip And how can I miss the amazing complimentary skincare session products are too goodi even purchased them

EcoArt travel was really well organised Our guide Eddie was FANTASTIC The museum is really overwhelming and I cant imagine doing it without the guid The quees are insane The experience was worth every penny and I would highly recommend a small group with Eddie

Oscar was a great tour guide He did a wonderful job explaining what we were looking at when we did stop at a particular attraction A bit too brisk of a tour and not enough time in Sistine Chapel

An amazing bath of art

The experience was overall very good The meeting point was easy to get and the conduction of the group has been well made by Ricardo even when crossing crowded rooms The expertise of Ricardo the guide is solid and wide connecting different fields of arts to what was being observed in the museums There is a lot to see and appreciate which requires another visit but the pauses and the walkings were adequate We are very pleased with the quality of this tour and its guidance which we obviously recommend
