In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

A wonderful afternoon touring the Vatican museums Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica

The visit was amazing Our tour guide Adriano was exceptionally good we have to give him a glowing recommendation Adriano was very informative gave detailed clear and easy to understand information throughout the whole of the tour We were impressed by the respect Adriano showed the advice he gave and by his example our group followed the same respect in the Sistine Chapel We were overwhelmed at times by the wonderful statues monuments tapestries and beautiful paintings even before we moved into the Sistine Chapel St Peters Basilica was breathtaking too

Fantastic

The tour was excellent with a knowledgeable guide leading the way I would certainly participate again given its efficiency The towns beauty is undeniable and considering the amount of traffic its definitely a worthwhile investment Thank you

Wonderful tour and guide

Pick this tour and company We where a party of two and decided to book this tour to skip lines and get to Vatican You wait in a short line to get in since there are alot of people everywhere Everything as stated easy to find meeting location very good guide great experience and such a nice time No extra waiting and so good to have good service and a small group Highly recommend and Marcello the guide grazie mille

FANTASTIC Tour

The tour from start to finish was excellent Clear emails were sent before the trip to explain the dress code and what to expect The meeting point and directions for the location of where to go were also super clear Giuseppe was our host and he was excellent Very witty and super informative He made the tour fantastic

Great Vatican Tour

We met at the allocated meeting point simple to find from the directions given Laura gathered all together making sure we were all given the new headphones as promised and linked radio receivers These worked perfectly and from that moment we never missed a word throughout our tour We joined the quick entrance line which moved rapidly and we were in the Vatican buildings within minutes You have to go through a security check which again moved swiftly Laura was extremely knowledgeable and made everyone comfortable by explaining were and what we would witness on the tour She invited people to ask questions Laura was a very likeable person and as so we enjoyed our time with her The visit was extremely good value and it is worth paying the extra to skip the enormous queues that you see all around you Mr Mrs Mckeown
