Please Note: Due to the passing of Pope Francis, the Sistine Chapel will be closed from April 28 until the end of the conclave. Tours will run as scheduled but will not include the Sistine Chapel during this period. Access to St. Peter's Basilica may also be interrupted.

This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

EcoArt was a great travel group experience I really liked our tour guide Rosaetta Rosa for short She explained everything very well and she was easy to understand Theres a lot to take in and many photo opportunities along the way

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Excellent tour guide Ricardo Everything was well organized we had the headset so we could do the same while in the Vatican museum Theres so much to see Plenty of opportunity to take photographs Instructions were very clear throughout the tour I strongly recommend purchase a tour in the morning if you can Any tour departing after 2 PM will not skip the line access to Saint Peters Basilica If you purchase this tour at 315 PM which is what we did you can go that same morning to the Basilica in the morning unguided free access no ticket needed the line without Skip the Line access is about one hour in January probably longer in the summer

Amazing experience with Ilaria

We had Ilaria for our tour and she was amazing We were lucky that no one else had booked onto the tour so we got to go at our pace and see every room included in the tour Ilaria was clearly very knowledgeable and we had a fantastic time on her tour We were able to enter St Peters Basilica as well and it was an incredible place we highly recommend going in if you can

Inclusive tour of Rome and Colosseum

Excellent tour by Vijay Wonderful tour of the Colosseum with all of the history and facts in the daytime and then central Rome at night when it is the most beautiful Great storyteller story continued from the Colosseum into central Rome Plenty of time for breaks everything was inclusive
