In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. This is the experience to pay for Ask for Oscar from EcoArt

We have been to Rome several times and have done nearly all the experiences But this is the one you want and you want a scholar to take you This is what you get by going through TripAdvisor Oscar and EcoArt gave a superlative experience to what can be a stressful chaotic and timeconsuming experience at the Vatican We were not firsttimers to the Vatican but the skiptheline feature really was well worth the ticket and the tour with Oscar was detailed interesting engaging and clearly communicated Our group asked many questions that took Oscar offbook and he knew every answer He spent time at university outside Italy and knew historical sites in the States that connect to papal and art history Not only that he told stories that made us want to explore other areas in Rome If there is any experience that should not be selfguided its the Vatican Sistine and St Peters Note that St Peters access also allows you to skip the line and a good tour guide can help you navigate where you want to go there Whether you go to St Peters is optional but highly recommended For those who are looking for Pope John Paul II his sepulcher is on the ground floor and Pope Benedict is below with the other popes Thank you for a lifetime of memories
