In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Joanna is a hit

As I approached the meeting area I was extremely skeptical as to what was in store It reminded me of what you would expect to see at a flea market But Once our tour guide gathered our group Joanna we immediately started giggling at her commentary and became excited for the tour Shes the type of person you would enjoy a few glasses of wine with She has been touring the Vatican for 30 years and in her words I know everyone and everyone knows me Isnt that the type of person you want to give you a tour We had a group size of 10 and I think it was a great amount You were able to ask questions and have a conversation but it didnt feel too intimidating or boring Plenty to see so wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera

Great tour

Great tour Martina was an amazing story teller theres so much to see but she takes you to the main points and after that you can make a choice of where to go The guide was amazing the museums were incredible its an experience I recommend a lot

Brilliant tour

We had Stefano as our guide and he was wonderful He knows so much about the Vatican and the collections within the museums he was open to answering questions and pointed out so many interesting details Hes also amazing with languages English French and Greek to name a few The entire tour was fantastic and I thoroughly recommend the experience
