In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Wonderful experience

The Eco Art team was very helpful We showed up late and they went above and beyond to ensure we were able to still get in When we arrived a man from the team connected us with our tour group even though he said there wasnt much he could do Our tour guide Fabio was extremely knowledgeable and friendly I highly recommend this service

Amazing

Alessia did an amazing job Sometimes I felt we walked a bit too fast through the beautiful rooms but she knew exactly what to do She seems to have a lot of knowledge and she is good at communicating it with the group After many hours of walking and listening and looking at the beautiful architecture and art I am very exhausted in the best way possible I definitely recommend this tour

Excellent tour

Tour guide was excellent sorry I dont recall her name Lots of information kept our group together and navigated the crowded museums easily while positioning us i the best viewing areas

We were running late 7 minutes to be exact Uber canceled our trip Called the tour and explained to them what just happened They were super accommodating and working a way for me and my family to catch the tour Aa soon as we arrived one the tours guided us to catch our tour guide Oscar Oscar one of the best Explained well the history and important information about VATICAN Explained well what and the what not to do where we can understand Thank you EcoTour for the amazing and best experience
