In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

A must in Rome

It was my second time doing the tour and I always recommend for anyone visiting Rome Its the best way to experience the Vatican and our tour guide was very knowledgeable

Worth it

After not being able to get official tickets for the Colloseum we decided we will get a tour booked with a guide through Klook Our tour guide Patrizia from EcoArt Travel was lovely and so knowledgeable It was nice to be able to just relax and have a guide to listen to while you are walking through the colloseum roman forum and palatine hill There is enough time to take pictures and a couple stops to fill up your water bottle Can recommend and would book again

Fantastic Tour

We took the Pantheon Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps tour with Lisa on 10th June at 500pm Lisa was an excellent tour guide very informative and knowledgeable about the 3 sites and accompanying areas we visited Would thoroughly recommend

Very efficient check in

Very efficient check in skipped all lines and the express tour was the perfect choice Assunta our guide was excellent Extremely knowledgeable and had the groups best interests in mind at all times We stopped by selected highlights and the 15 hour length was perfect We left feeling well informed and in awe of the art and architecture

Made a Vatican visit manageable and informative

Our guide Oscar was very knowledgeable I am so happy we did the skip the line tour and had a an expert to point out points of interest and tell us some of the back stories The quantity of things to see in the Vatican museum is seriously overwhelming and Oscar helped to make it manageable and made sure we saw all the key pieces Thank you Oscar for a great tour
