In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Our guide Frederick was amazing The heat inside the Vatican was not If Frederico was not there to help me get through the tour I would have passed out several times from the heat Please try and do better in the summer months at the Vatican Too many tours with no air movement however we got through it because of Frederico Thank you thank you thank you

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

A MustDo No Question

A really wellorganised tour from start to finish Everything ran smoothly which made the whole experience stressfree and enjoyable Samantha our tour guide was excellent incredibly knowledgeable and also very friendly She brought everything to life with her insights and made the experience even more engaging We particularly enjoyed visiting the museum and of course the Sistine Chapel The history is absolutely incredible and the beauty of it all is truly breathtaking A fantastic experience that we would highly recommend

Marvelous tour

Very passionate and nice staff Eddy you did a great job I was so lucky to book this tour from Ecoart and it happened to meet the professional tour guide Eddy Eddy bought the group a lot of joy and provided tons of historical knowledges It turned out I love the colosseum much more Cant wait to revisit one more time From solo traveller from TaiwanSerena

Knowledgeable Guide and Great Tour

Overall we really enjoyed this excursion Our tour guide was friendly knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the history and significance of the Vatican Museums the Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica Her enthusiasm and expertise made the experience much more enjoyable The only drawback was the meeting location The instructions for where to meet the tour group were not clearly explained and it was difficult to find the correct meeting point More detailed directions a map or recognizable landmarks would make the start of the excursion much less stressful Once we found the group everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful experience I would recommend this excursion

Must see in Rome

The tour was very informative and Vincenza was a great guide We found it to be about an hour too long Half of our group bailed after the Colosseum portion The security was a little over the top to get in compared to other attractions we visited in Rome so be prepared
