In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

We booked a private tour with eco art We had a guide named Giuseppe who I cannot praise enough His knowledge was incredible and his enthusiasm was great He has been the best guide for any tour I have ever been on He took some amazing photos of us and asked us quite often what we were interested in seeing and learning about 1210 stars for Giuseppe and eco art Grazie Giuseppe

Nous avons apprécié les décors incroyables et les eaux transparentes A propos du déroulement de lexcursion nous passons 3 heures le matin dans les transports et 3 heures le soir Le reste est une longue balade en bateau a travers les décors magnifiques Nous avons la possibilité de se baigner a de nombreuses reprises Attention il est nécessaire de savoir bien nager Le repas du midi est un ensemble de pâtes de thons et de sauce tomate Le repas étais plutôt bon Pour finir faite attention il faut 50 euro par personne en Nous avons trouver cela un peu cher Voyage de 2 français

Wonderful Tour

Visiting the Vatican was a magical experience Nicoletta our tour guide had a vast wealth of knowledge which made the visit so worthwhile and informative I would highly recommend this tour although should note that it does involve a lot of walking including stairs

Awesome Information Guide

Our guide Stefano our guide was fantastic Funny and interesting to listen to he engages well with the group The skip the line was fantastic and totally worth the price rather than waiting in line especially during the summers when its 100 degrees The information shared was also interesting and easy to follow
