Many many marble steps to the Sistine Chapel but go for it The 800 am tour is not too crowded and our guide Elana was awesome She told us what to expect each part of the tour pointed out bathrooms on the tour She was always easy to find because she gave clear concise instructions Her knowledge of the Vatican areas university level I highly recommend her tour Elana from Milan

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Fantastic tour fantastic Guide

We did the Vatican Sistine chapel tour in english with Guiseppe who was an amazing guide passionate knowledgeable and entertaining as well we gained so many insights into its history which is why we always recommend guided tours It also has the benefit of bypassing a lot of the queues and simplifying the process of making our way around the maze that is the Vatican and Chapel Amazing art sculptures and history around every corner

Nicoletta epitomizes what EcoArt has to offer

Nicoletta led our small group of ten and was a tremendous asset to the experience She is quite knowledgeable and directed the tour to points of interest both popular and esoteric She took time to answer questions and masterfully wove historical happenings together demonstrating how full circle the past and present are

Awesome tour with Oscar

My wife and I really enjoyed our tour with our wonderful guide Oscar The Vatican is so large and the tour itself can take long so we really enjoyed the fact that we were able to skip all the lines Oscar was very detailed in his explanation of all the art work and the significance of each area we visited He also had a great sense of humor which made the tour even more enjoyable I would highly suggest this to anyone wanting to visit the Vatican
