Many many marble steps to the Sistine Chapel but go for it The 800 am tour is not too crowded and our guide Elana was awesome She told us what to expect each part of the tour pointed out bathrooms on the tour She was always easy to find because she gave clear concise instructions Her knowledge of the Vatican areas university level I highly recommend her tour Elana from Milan

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.


Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great experience

Our guide Martina was fantastic Super knowledgeable and made the tour go by fast She was funny too Really enjoyed it all

Sister Trip to the Vatican

Catalina was wonderful She was very informative and a great story teller The way she shared the information made it so interesting and easy to follow The small group size helped us maneuver through the museums much easier than some of the larger ones Would highly recommend this tour and specifically Catalina as the guide Gratzi Only suggestion we have would to direct how to exit from were we came in from

Fun and very educated the way we felt after the tour

We had Martina as our tour guide and she was amazing She was so friendly a great sense of humour and extremely knowledgeable with everything in the Vatican She made a huge impact on us and we felt very educated by the end of the tour Thank you Martina

Fun and educational tour

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour Our guide Laura was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour extremely interesting and fun I had been to the Vatican Museums twice before without a guide and highly recommend all visitors go with a guide to really appreciate the importance and history of the museums Laura focused on key highlights throughout the museums and also pinpointed some of her favorite paintings and sculptures The only downside of the tour was the crowds Laura assured us it was a lot less busy than July and Augustbut I would recommend true art and history lovers to plan their trip in the winter or spring
