Highly recommend this tour We did the early tour at 8am before the lines were long and it got too crowded Martina was a very informative and friendly guide

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Very extensive review of the Vatican museum Tour guide very friendly and knowledgeable Museum was very crowded Tour was not able to enter the Sistene chapel Very disappointed Tour company spent more time in the museum but do not feel it compensated for missing the Sistene chapel Tour not a good value without the Sistene Chapel

Amazing tour with Oscar

Being in Rome for a short time with my family we seized the opportunity to do a 25 hour small group Vatican Museum Tour with Oscar from EcoArt It was an amazing time The tour exceeded our expectations Oscar was the best guide we would have ever dreamed of a real professional with an extended knowledge of history archeology and mythology Besides he was also good in making jokes between his explanations His English was excellent Because the Sistine Chapel was closed Oscar instead focused on the history of the Conclave and the Basilica During this time weve learned so much It was a very special moment to be in Rome and at the Vatican experiencing a truly unique atmosphere We had a great and memorable time Dear Oscar thank you so much for your passion enthusiasm and dedication

Worth it

This skip the line tour was well worth it for the Vatican museums and the basilica The crowds were very large and it was convenient to have a guided tour of the high points of the museums

Do not hesitate to book this excursion

This is a not to be missed tour It was an extensive extremely well knowledgeable guide Marcello took us through the history the people and the art and did so very personably It was over 3 hours At the conclusion we were left to enjoy the Sistine Chapel on our own having already been told about what to look for in the images and their symbolism

Crowded day in the Vatican Museum

It was very crowded place and I thought it was impossible to enjoy fully the tour However Nicoletta was very proficient in guiding us throughout the tour knowing where and when we should enter which area She is very knowledgeable and without her explaining we would be lost in understanding it She did a very good job summarizing the history on the needtoknow basis and if you asked more she will further explain Good job Nicoletta and keep up the job job Thanks for making our trip worthwhile
