Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.


Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

The tour guide helped bring the experience to life being an uneducated heathen myself I did not understand the artistic and religious context behind a lot of sights The dude was pretty funny too Best experience we had in Rome

Amazing tour Kept moving and skipped all the queues Having a very knowledgeable and informative guide added so much to the experience I know I wouldnt have got nearly as much out of it if I was left wander the halls of this massive museum by myself

Great tour experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Laura She was very knowledgeable and able to convey many fascinating details about the architecture art work and historical significance of the Vatican She was able to provide a great summary of the Sistine Chapel in a way that really enhanced the experience I highly recommend Laura

Vatican Semi Private Tour in Winter

The tour was very good Fred was able to keep the group together through the crowds in an easy and respectful way giving enough freedom for you to roam and explore yet stay together The pace of the tour was very good and the information was useful Of course the highlights of the Vatican speak for themselves Skip the line is always a misnomer in these tours this there are always lines just different ones for groups Not a problem but be prepared for that No food or drink stops on the whole tour so bring your own easy to eat snacks and water
