You will make your way to our meeting point where your ticket escort will be waiting to take you inside. You will enter using the fastest possible entrance. Get expert advice for how to make the most of your time inside the museums before setting off to explore on your own.

All Vatican tickets are timed entrance and specifically for the date you booked. Change of plans? You can request as many changes of date or time as you like or a full refund up to just 24 hours before your travel date. 

Please note that your EcoArt booking voucher is not valid for entry to the Vatican Museums! You must bring your voucher to the meeting point to enjoy your escorted Skip the Line entrance and receive your valid entrance ticket.

Overall good experience

The hostes tour was super! The ladies who hosted us were very nice, showed us the entrance and gave us good tips for the tour. Would recommend! It is normal that in the top visited places to be long cues and a lot of people. It takes time and patience but tottally worth the money and the visit!

Come to our meeting point in front of Via Tunisi 4, on the steps located at the corner with Viale Vaticano, 15 minutes before your selected departure time. Check in with our team who will be there holding signs with a green “EcoArt” logo. Please note the meeting point is an outdoor location and not an office.

  • Children aged 6 and under are entitled to free access to the Vatican Museums (with proof of age). Children aged 7-18 are entitled to a reduced entry fee (see tour and ticket pricing) and must provide proof of age. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums,shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

Your Vatican Tickets may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

quick way to beat the line

There are two ways to see the museum; but timed admission tickets or wait in a line that can reach a mile long. October was more crowded than I’ve ever seen in. Buying timed admission tickets let’s you avoid the hour long wait providing more time in the museum.

Skip the line Vatican museum

Excellent service. Friendly guide. Worth skipping the 2 hour queue. It was easy to download our ticket and the instructions for how to find the guide were clear.

Worth the money

Worth the money if you want to skip the line. We met Roberta a little bit before the tour time and she he gave us our tickets, a map, and some helpful information. We went by ourselves to the entrance and followed her instructions, so everything was ok. I would recommend you to take the tours in the afternoon since isn't that busy at that time. We took the 2.15pm.

vatican self guided

The Vatican is beautiful, worth seeing. Me and my friends opted for self guided tour, it was nice to go off and do our own thing. However, we actually wished we went for a guided tour for this as there were so many stories behind every statue and painting/display in there. You need to make sure shoulders and legs are covered for the chapel or they won't let you in. And unless you're with a guided tour you won't be allowed to the St Basilica.
