very informative tour

We enjoyed our 3 hr tour though the crowds are daunting queuing was minimal. Our guide was very knowledgeable but did not overwhelm us with too much history or facts. Overall an enjoyable after noon

great service, worth the money

We bought our tickets without a guided tour, so that we could go at our own pace as there is so much there and choosing to buy a hand held tour once we had reached the entrance to the museum. The tickets were easy to pick up from the provider, with good directions as to where to pick these up on the ticket. There are lots of people on the steps also picking up tickets and we were approached by a few people trying to help tourists find their ticket providers, one told us to stay on the steps, if you come across this ignore them! The pick up point is as instructed at the bottom of the steps and on the left. The lady we got our tickets from (apologies I can't remember her name) was very helpful and told us exactly what we needed to do to get in and where to go. Overall this was a very worthwhile visit that we definitely recommend. Make sure to visit St Peters also, to get here leave the Vatican and turn right, follow the wall and that will lead you to St Peters. You do not need to pay for St Peters but need to cover your shoulders, knees and will need to go through security checks. The line for us for security looked long but actually moved pretty quickly.

Great guide and saved time by skipping the line

well worth the money. very knowledgeable guide. however, if you have your own headphones with a wire, bring them to hear the guide with both ears. it is very crowded and there is a lot of background noise

Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums Skip The Line

The tour guide was great, got us in and got tickets quickly. We did an unguided tour which left us on our own to go at our own pace. We were able to see everything not feeling rushed or having to wait for a group.

WELL WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY

We bought these skip the line tickets when another provider fell through at the last minute. It is well worth the extra money above the normal entrance ticket as you don't have to wait for hours in the extreme heat in a queue that will go around the entire building. The guide was very helpful, the tour was well organised and we left on time. I would definitely recommend!
