Skip the Line: Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Entrance Tickets

We have never previously used Trip Advisor to obtain tickets for an event before, but this proved to be a good choice as the arrangements to pick up the tickets was very good and we met up with the agent utside the museum at the alloted time and then entered the Vatican Museum ... without having to Queue :-) The Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel was truly a great place to visit and I would advise anyone to definately make it a "must do" when visiting Rome. Be advised thatyou have to go theough the Vatican Museum in order to get into the Cisteen Chapel and the exhibition rooms in the Vatican Museum are brillaint however thare are many rooms and they are alll very big so put on your comfortable shoes, plus it is always busy so go early or late to beat the crowns However ti does take around 3 hours to do it all justice. BTW ... there is a cafe where you can get food and refreshments half way round

WORTH IT TO BEAT THE LINE

The operator emailed meeting directions in advance. On the day they were easy to find and gave a short briefing, together with our ticket voucher. Everything went smoothly. We would have had to be in line for at least an hour in scorching heat otherwise so would highly recommend

AMAZING CITY, ROME

It’s been my long wish to travel to Rome, especially so much historical places to visit and the Vatican was exceptional, the whole city is easy to reach by foot, Bus, taxi etc. Booked the tickets through trip advisor and honestly it was easy to get my tickets as the other company gave a good instruction on how to meet up and a map directions, I booked self tour but I would Recommend a guide tour as there is too much history and it would be worth knowing the facts.

Skip the line, tour on your own

Basically paying ahead so you can go in without waiting. Like call ahead seating for restaurants in America, only you pay the price of admission and a bit more for the convenience, which was well worth it in the summer heat. The person meeting us was super nice and she gave us our vouchers so we could go in immediately. The only annoyance were the constant hawkers of scarves and other paraphenalia while they told us our skirts were too short to go into the Sistine. I read the warning on this site, so I knew my clothes were regulation length. (Which yes they do want your shoulders covered and no booty shorts out of respect, I got it and was dressed appropriately because in the end it was a non issue). But being eyed up by men outside and told it wasnt good enough to sell me a scarf? well that just doesn't feel right. That said, it's not the tour company's fault, but a general problem in all the tourist spots.

Easy to find guide rep and they were very helpful. Gave us our beat the line tickets, a map and some guidelines and we then went straight in and were left to explore the incredible Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel at our leisure. All of which are stunning! Would recommend this to everyone as an ideal way to see these incredible places.
