Group tour with Julia

This tour was absolutely fabulous and so well coordinated. My wife, 2 sons (10 & 6yrs), and I were extremely pleased with the very informative guided tour and highly recommend it. Happy family.

excellent vatican tour

We thoroughly enjoyed and can wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Group size was less than 20 as promised (17) and was just right to enable the excellent guide, Priscilla, to pass on her extensive and interesting knowledge to all members of the party. Fast track entry allowed us to pass quickly through the entry and security procedures and bypass the long queues. Once inside Priscilla took us to all the most important artefacts and passed on her knowledge of each one. We would have liked to have seen more of the museum but there is just so much of it that it would be too much for one day. Despite the massive crowds our guide moved us smoothly through the museum expertly avoiding the worst of the congestion and making sure the group stayed together. Entry from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter’s Basilica is only allowed if you are in a tour group, so this was another massive advantage as the alternative was to exit the building and queue again to pay again to enter St. Peter’s. Downsides of our visit were the huge crowds and the stairs to the dome being closed but neither of these was anything to do with the tour.

good overview

Our guide, Priscilla, was able to manoeuvre our small group very well through the crowds at the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel & St Peter’s Basilica. She gave us a good overview and drew attention to important aspects. Well worth it - thanks Priscilla.
