In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Exceptional Experience Best tour of Rome so far

ECO tours was exceptionally efficient and professional Laura was a wonderful tour guide A wealth of knowledge and witty Very patient and quick to react to changes and challenges with grace and understanding A member of our group lost her purse but she improvised in order to maintain the tour Luckily the purse was recovered The door from the Sistine Chapel to St Peters Basilica was closed to the public for periods of time She tried her best but was unable to gain access due to Vatican activity We parted ways at the Sistine Chapel and she came back and found each member of the group minutes later in the crowd to bring us back as the door had opened We will book with Laura for other tours

Great Guide

Our guide Ricardo was knowledgeable passionate and extremely pleasant The Vatican was packed but he made sure we all stuck together It was a great tour

Great tour

This was a great tour that covered some really interesting areas of the Vatican Museum as well as the Sistine Chapel Our guide Fabio was very knowledgeable and made the tour both interesting and fun We were only in Rome for a short time so this gave us a great overview but you could spend at least a whole day inside if you wanted to see everything We booked a late afternoon tour so couldnt see StPeters Basillica but with hindsight wish we had booked something earlier so that we could have covered this too Overall a great experience that we would recommend
