In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Highly recommend joining a guided tour in Colosseum Not only does it save you time from waiting in long lines but the guide also takes you to the best photo spots We were lucky to have Maria Luisa as our guideshe was incredibly patient and attentive She often checked in to see if we had any questions and her explanations paired with visual comparisons really helped us imagine what everything looked like in the past It was absolutely worth the money The experience made us want to come back again to relive the history of Rome It was truly an unforgettable and impressive experience

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Fast but informative

Paulina was a really good guide on this tour especially considering how pressed for time we were With the Sistine Chapel closing relatively quickly after the tour started not to mention loads of other groups to contend with she had to move us along pretty quickly Despite that she shared an immense amount of information about the different exhibits getting us a fair amount of time in specific rooms If youre thinking about booking this tour try to get the earliest slot you can This will ensure you have enough time to backtrack if you want or to linger in the chapel

Perfect about of time with a knowledgeable guide

Thank goodness I booked this tour I did the 915 AM tour and by then all the lines to get into the Vatican and through the different check points was crazy Oscar our English speaking tour guide manouvered it well Oscar was very knowledgeable and easy to understand He hit all the highlights and taught our group numerous new facts After the main tour Oscar even fast tracked us into the basilica which I did for about 30 minutes on my own It was the perfect amount of time I feel this small tour provided an excellent overview When I left Vatican City I was exhausted and ready for lunch

A Marvelous Journey through the Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel

Our visit to the Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel was absolutely incredible From start to finish everything was great Our tour guide was not only knowledgeable but also had a fantastic sense of humor making the experience even more enjoyable Exploring the vast collection of art within the Vatican Museums was a true feast for the senses The guides expertise brought the artwork to life providing historical and cultural context that enriched our understanding and appreciation of each masterpiece And then there was the Sistine Chapeltruly aweinspiring The guides insightful explanations of Michelangelos masterpiece added an extra layer of awe and admiration Standing beneath the breathtaking frescoes was an unforgettable moment one that left us in complete awe of the artists genius The organization of the tour was seamless allowing us to maximize our time and see the highlights without feeling rushed The guides ability to engage the group and maintain a lively atmosphere throughout the tour was commendable Overall our visit to the Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel exceeded our expectations The combination of incredible art a knowledgeable and funny guide and a wellstructured tour made it an unforgettable experience We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome
